Sepsis - Imperial

The Sepsis caoches completed FCA coaching training in 2017 at Sheffield FCA.

They have been working on improving the identification and treatment of sespsis across the while patient pathway.

They had specific aims of:

  1. Increasing the number of patients with sepsis recieving antibiotics within one hour
  2. To provide personalised data feedback to individual wards

To do this they created a Big Room, a weekly hour long coached meeting where staff and patients come together to discuss improvements. The Sepsis Big Room has also recently been shortlisted for the Patient and Safety Awards 2018.

Take a look at their case study below to see how they have got on, you can also access a PDF version here.
